The service received a good rating overall and good ratings across all five key areas assessed: safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
The assessment highlighted consistently positive experiences from people using the service. The CQC spoke with people and carers, who said they felt safe, were involved in planning their care and were treated with kindness, dignity and respect.
Communication from staff was described as clear, timely and supportive.
Friends and Family Test results showed 100% positive feedback over the previous 12 months at the time of the assessment. The service also actively collected and shared compliments, reflecting high levels of satisfaction with the care provided.
People said staff were responsive, attentive and available when needed. Rehabilitation and therapy needs were prioritised, with people supported to improve their independence and work towards discharge. People also valued opportunities for social and therapeutic activities, eating together and flexible visiting arrangements.
