Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust said it was aware of the videos which claim the products were being used and endorsed by its clinicians.

A trust spokesperson said: ‘We can confirm these videos are fraudulent, and the people named and pictured are not members of our trust staff.

‘We are working to get these videos taken down and encourage people to report them to the social media platform they appear on.'

One fraudulent post attributed to a St Thomas' Hospital doctor stated: ‘A gently microneedle patch helped me regain balance and confidence in my own health.'

Another stated: ‘It's never too late to start again. When your body finds its balance, health follows – step by step.'
