Kasraie, who will take over from Jane Blower, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the role, with a focus on supporting ARCS members and assisting and guiding the executive committee in its activities.

‘I am honoured to be appointed president of ARCS and to represent a community of scientists whose work is so central to improving patient care and outcomes in assisted conception,' Kasraie said.

‘ARCS has played a vital role in supporting collaboration, professional development and high standards across our specialty, and I am committed to building on that strong foundation.

‘Having been involved in the organisation's journey over many years, including its transition to a unified body and through the challenges of the pandemic, I am excited to work with the executive committee and members to continue strengthening the voice of reproductive and clinical scientists and supporting them in their essential work.

Dr Rachel Gregoire, chair of ARCS, said: ‘Jason's extensive experience and commitment to the field will be invaluable as we continue to support our members and grow as an organisation.'
