A landmark policy to help reduce deaths and harm from excess alcohol use is to be extended in Wales.
The Government’s plans to tackle problem drinking ‘are not sufficient to address the scale and complexity of harm’, warn health experts.
The minimum price per unit of alcohol in Scotland is to increase by 15p to 65p from midnight today (30 September) to increase the positive effects of the policy and to take account of inflation.
