Nuffield Health appoints new chief financial officer

Nuffield Health has appointed Paul Baker as its chief financial officer.

Baker brings more than 25 years of financial leadership experience across international consumer, logistics and service sectors.

Most recently, he was chief financial officer at Smiths News. Prior to this Baker held senior finance roles at Compass Group, Iglo Group/Birds Eye, and Cadbury Schweppes. He is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Alex Perry, chief executive officer of Nuffield Health, said: ‘His breadth of experience and capabilities will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our financial performance, allowing us to reinvest in our services and deliver even more social impact in the future.'

Baker will replace Matt Lynn, who will be stepping down at the end of the year. 

Lynn, who joined Nuffield Health in 2022, will remain in post until the end of the year to ensure a smooth handover and transition.
