A review of speaking up experiences of overseas-trained workers highlights the unique challenges they may encounter and offers practical steps employers can take to reduce barriers.

In addition, the National Guardian's Office has also created a framework to support best practice in the hiring and deployment of Freedom to Speak Up guardians.

The framework provides an overview of the role of a guardian, the principles of Freedom to Speak Up and how to recruit and embed guardians in an organisation. It includes four job descriptions that will help organisations draft a job description, which should be read in conjunction with the guardian role specification.

The full framework and other resources can be found on the National Guardian's Office website.
