Mobilitas acquires NRS Healthcare's product sales division

Mobilitas Group has acquired the product sales division of Nottingham Rehab Limited, trading as NRS Healthcare, which is in the process of being liquidated.

Mobilitas acquires NRS Healthcare's product sales division

NRS, which provides around 40% of healthcare equipment to the community in England with many services focused in South East England, collapsed earlier this month. ICBs and councils around the country have announced new partnerships following the company's liquidation.

The acquisition covers only the product sales division and all other NRS Healthcare operations, including ICES and TECS, remain entirely separate from Mobilitas Group.

William Harrison, co-founder of Mobilitas Group, said: ‘We didn't want to see a company with such rich British heritage simply disappear. Its 75-year history in supporting people's independence is a legacy worthy of protection, and we're proud to step in and ensure their customers continue to receive excellent service while unlocking new growth opportunities for the business.'

Mark Baumann, sales director for the Product Sales Division, added: ‘In joining forces with Mobilitas Group, we are strengthening our commitment to providing high-quality, innovative products that empower people to live independently.

‘The combined expertise, resources, and shared vision will help us offer greater value to customers, healthcare professionals, and partners across the UK and beyond.'
