McClelland has spent the past 20 years working in the life science sector, where he has supported companies in the development, manufacture and delivery of numerous therapeutics. He is currently the interim chief operating officer at Symbiosis Pharmaceutical Services, a contract manufacturing organisation based in Stirling.
In recent years, he has served on the board of children's healthcare charities Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity and Hi Scotland. He has also served on the Council of Directors at Glasgow Chamber of Commerce.
Plummer has nearly 30 years of experience at board level across a variety of SME companies. His career has centred around digital technologies with a particular focus on Digital Transformation strategies and road mapping over the past 10 years.
He has been a trustee of community care charity Turning Point Scotland for the past seven years, recently completing a two-year term as chair of the board.
The appointments, which are regulated by the Ethical Standards Commissioner, will be for four years until 30 September 2029.
