Lincolnshire ICB aims to boost access to NHS dental care

NHS Lincolnshire ICB plans to introduce new dental services in communities with the greatest unmet need.

The ICB is launching a patient survey on its proposals for new dental services in Lincoln, Boston and Skegness.

Caroline Goulding, director of strategic and specialised commissioning, Derby & Derbyshire ICB, Lincolnshire ICB and Nottingham & Nottinghamshire ICB (DLN) ICB Cluster, said: ‘Our proposal to introduce new NHS dental services in Lincoln, Boston and Skegness is an important step in improving access to NHS dental care for people across Lincolnshire.

‘We want to hear from as many residents as possible so that these new services truly reflect local needs.'

The proposed services will also support training of the future dental workforce.
