The inspection followed breaches of regulation in safe care and treatment and good management identified previously. The CQC found the service had made sufficient improvements and were no longer in breach of regulations.

Following this inspection, CQC re-rated safe, effective, caring and responsive good. Well-led has improved from requires improvement to good.

The overall rating for Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust remains good.

A trust spokesperson said: ‘The trust recognises the importance of learning, listening and continually improving services. The improvements highlighted in this report demonstrate the dedication of staff to delivering high-quality care and creating a supportive, therapeutic environment for young people.

‘Sheffield Children's will continue to build on this progress, guided by its Quality Promise, to ensure every patient receives care that is consistently safe, kind and as outstanding as possible.'
