The centres are available to Bupa health insurance customers at Cromwell Hospital and New Victoria Hospital in London.

Amer Raza, consultant gynaecologist at Cromwell Hospital, said: ‘By combining specialist diagnostics with advanced surgical options, including robotic-assisted procedures that reduce pain and support faster recovery, we're improving access to timely care and helping to deliver better outcomes for women with endometriosis and gynaecological cancers.'

The integrated pathway offers triage with a cancer nurse specialist within 24 hours and a face-to-face appointment within three working days for minor diagnostics or imaging if symptoms suggest cancer or endometriosis.

For suspected cancer, biopsy results are shared within seven working days and, if cancer is confirmed, treatment begins within 31 days - half the national average of 62 days for cancer treatment.

For endometriosis, diagnosis and treatment are completed within 12 weeks, compared with a national average of seven years to diagnosis.
