Willmott Dixon completes Southampton healthcare R&D facilities

Willmott Dixon has announced the completion of two healthcare R&D facilities in Southampton.

Partnering with Prime, Macquarie Group and IHSS, the company has completed an aseptic pharmacy and sterile services department (SSD) at the Adanac Health and Innovation Campus.

The aseptic pharmacy will manufacture sterile medicines for University Hospital Southampton (UHS) and other NHS providers in the region, while the SSD will sterilise medical devices and equipment.

Richard Poulter, managing director at Willmott Dixon in the South, said: ‘We are proud to have played a key role in delivering these state-of-the-art healthcare facilities at Adanac Health and Innovation Campus.

‘This project showcases the power of collaboration in addressing the evolving needs of the NHS and the wider healthcare sector.
