West Yorkshire trust selects non-executive director

Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust has welcomed Warren Brown as non-executive director to its trust board.

Brown has senior-level public sector experience, including at the Department of Health. More recently, following several director-level roles, he was director of performance and improvement for two national bodies – NHS England and NHS Improvement – both nationally, and across the North-East and Yorkshire region.

Following retirement, Brown has been actively involved in local community initiatives, including supporting public safety measures and leading NHS wellbeing walks.

He said: ‘I'm looking forward to working with the Executive team, to continue to drive service transformation and improvements for our local communities.'

Fran Stead, trust secretary, said: ‘We're thrilled that Warren has joined our board, bringing a wealth of experience at both a national and regional level.'
