Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent ICB selects new finance lead

Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent ICB has appointed Claire Finn as interim chief finance officer.

Finn, who has more than 20 years' experience in NHS finance, has previously worked for Derbyshire ICB as interim chief finance officer, University Hospitals Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust where she was also interim chief finance officer. She has also been director of finance at West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.

Peter Axon, chief executive, said: ‘Claire is a hugely experienced chief finance officer with wide experience across the NHS and will be a great asset to our board.'

Finn replaces Paul Brown, who will step down in the summer, after five years in the role.
