South Lanarkshire health and social care partnership names head of transformation and performance

South Lanarkshire University Health and Social Care Partnership has appointed Claire Kavanagh as head of transformation and performance.

Kavanagh has extensive experience in strategic planning, service improvement, performance management and transformational programme delivery across health and social care and local government.

She is currently strategic lead: communities at East Ayrshire Council and has previously held posts in health and social care in a number of health and social care partnerships.

Professor Soumen Sengupta, chief officer for South Lanarkshire University Health and Social Care Partnership, said: 'Claire brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in driving innovation and improvement. I look forward to the significant contribution that Claire's leadership will make to our collective commitment to deliver safe and effective care and to develop sustainable services for the benefit of the diverse communities that we serve.'
