The Population Health: Strongest Start Conference organised by the Centre for Population Health & Children North East takes place at St James' Park in Newcastle-upon-Tyne from 9.30am to 4.30pm on 20 November.

Professor Durka Dougall, chief executive, Centre For Population Health, said: ‘We are bringing together people to try to find ways to keep children in all our minds as a priority, review the examples of good practice taking place nationally and gather learning from this about what is needed in practice from all of us.

‘We will also use time together to plan practical change for improvements in data, digital, workforce, training, development, commissioning and funding through all of our roles to make this a reality.'

Attendees will benefit from insightful talks from diverse expert speakers, unified by the common goal of population health improvement.

The speaker line-up includes: Professor Durka Dougall, chief executive, Centre For Population Health; Rasheed Ogunlaru, life coach; and speaker and leadership coach, Leigh Elliott, chief executive, Children North East.
