NWH Group secures three-year waste management contract

NWH Group has secured a £1.5m, three-year waste management contract with NHS Dumfries & Galloway.

NWH Group is a leading recycling and waste management company serving businesses across Scotland and the UK.

A spokesperson at NHS Dumfries & Galloway said: ‘The contract will see NWH Group's involvement from the initial collection of waste at the point of production, to on-site transfer and consolidation and off-site transportation, treatment and disposal. To ensure compliance and traceability, all waste streams covered will be meticulously tracked through NWH Group's advanced end-to-end operating system.'

Kelly Lock, commercial lead at NWH Group, added: ‘Through optimised handling, increased recycling, and effective management of complex waste streams, our involvement will play an important part in supporting NHS Dumfries & Galloway as it works towards achieving the Scottish Government's targets of reaching net zero by 2040.'
