NowMedical marks 21st anniversary with service review

Housing and homelessness medical and psychiatric assessment provider, NowMedical, is celebrating its 21st anniversary with a full review of its service model aimed at enhancing transparency, turnaround times and digital accessibility for referrers.

The company has delivered tens of thousands of assessments to over 400 councils and housing associations nationwide, from homelessness vulnerability evaluations to housing suitability advice.

‘We started with a simple goal: make medical advice accessible to those making life-changing housing decisions,' said Dr John Keen, medical director and founder.

‘Twenty-one years later, we're proud to still be doing exactly that – but we now deliver it with a larger team, greater efficiency and the same commitment we've had since day one.'

NowMedical's team of UK-registered doctors and psychiatrists offer details assessments to local authorities in one day for applicants with complex physical or mental health needs.

‘We focus on clarity, dignity and responsiveness,' added Dr Keen.
