Member reappointed to Western Isles NHS board

Professor Annetta Smith has been reappointed as a member of the Western Isles NHS board.

 Prof Smithis the former head of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of the Highlands and Islands and has held various nurse academic positions in the University sector in Scotland.

She was a registered nurse and nurse educator with experience of education and health research collaborations within the UK and internationally.

The reappointment will be until 31 January 2030.

NHS Western Isles serves around 27,000 people.
