London trust appoints chief medical officer

North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT) has selected Dr Hélène Brown as its new chief medical officer.

Dr Brown has more than 35 years' experience in the NHS, including two decades as a London GP.

She said: ‘I feel privileged to work alongside such dedicated colleagues, as we continue our shared focus on quality, safety and equitable care.'
