Kent and Medway ICB appoints chief finance officer

Kent and Medway ICB has selected Jonathan Wilson as its chief finance officer.

Wilson's background spans Hertfordshire and West Essex ICB, Moorfields Eye Hospital, North Central London ICB, Homerton and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

He replaces Ivor Duffy in the role.

ICB chief executive, Adam Doyle, said: ‘I know Jonathan will be a great addition to our senior team as we continue our financial reset and wider organisational transformation.

‘I also want to offer my sincere thanks to Ivor Duffy for his years of hard work, dedication and steadfast support to Kent and Medway as chief finance officer. Ivor has been a constant source of stability through some of the most challenging periods for our organisation and has always brought professionalism, integrity and personal commitment.'

Wilson said: ‘I am really looking forward to joining Kent and Medway ICB at a time when there will be a renewed focus on the commissioning of NHS services and improving the health outcomes for our patient population.'
