A special service is being held in Leeds by NHS Charities Together in partnership with Leeds Hospitals Charity at St James's Hospital in Leeds.
The event, which will reflect on Covid's impact and honour the work of NHS staff, frontline workers and volunteers, comes ahead of the next Covid-19 National Day of Reflection on Sunday 8 March.
Ellie Orton, chief executive of NHS Charities Together, said: ‘Six years on from the start of the Covid-19 pandemic its impact is still being felt by NHS staff, patients and communities across the country, so it's essential that we continue to support NHS Charities so that they can be there for us all when we need them most.'
The events are being held as the Covid-19 Inquiry came to a close this week after launching in 2022.
Closing the hearings, Baroness Heather Hallett defended the £200m cost of the four-year process.
Baroness Hallett has already published a report on pandemic planning before 2020 and there are further eight reports on topics including the NHS, vaccines, test and trace, and the pandemic's impact on children and social care to come over the next 12 months.
