RACE Equality Code Quality Mark

The RACE Equality Code supports organisations to tackle workplace discrimination and strengthen diversity - particularly within leadership roles. The code has four key pillars - Reporting, Action, Composition, and Education - designed to help organisations address race inequality.

To achieve the Quality Mark, organisations undergo a detailed assessment and develop an action plan focused on transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Simon Trickett, chief executive at NHS Coventry and Warwickshire ICB, said: ‘This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion across the organisation.

‘We will continue to use the RACE Equality framework to identify and address any inequalities, strengthen accountability, and build a workplace where everyone can thrive.'

The accreditation is valid until September 2028.
