The upgrade included the installation of door controllers linked with existing on-site access and alarm servers to safeguard critical areas.

Martyn McKechnie, head of digital identity at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, said: ‘As a busy hospital with multiple departments and critical areas, we required an access control system that could integrate seamlessly while offering high levels of security and administrative control.
