Raghuv has been serving as the trust's interim chief executive since October 2025, having previously worked as chief operating officer since March 2022.
Before joining Buckinghamshire Healthcare, he served as director of strategic partnerships at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, and during the Covid-19 pandemic he was seconded to NHS Test and Trace as chief of staff, serving on its Executive Committee. Prior to that, he was a senior civil servant at the DHSC.
David Highton, chair of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, said: ‘During his time with us, Raghuv has demonstrated exceptional leadership, a deep understanding of our organisation, and an unwavering commitment to our patients, staff and partners.
‘His experience across the NHS and Civil Service, coupled with his values-led and inclusive approach, makes him ideally placed to lead us as we deliver our long-term strategy for 2025–2035 and continue our work to reduce health inequalities across Buckinghamshire.'
Raghuv said: ‘We have an ambitious long-term strategy to improve the health of our population, reducing health inequalities and providing more proactive, preventative care. This is an exciting and important mission that I look forward to continuing to work closely with our dedicated and talented colleagues and partners to deliver.'
