Black Country Healthcare appoints interim chief people officer

Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has appointed Kerry Smith as interim chief people officer.

Smith joins from North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust, where was interim chief people officer.

Marsha Foster, chief executive at Black Country Healthcare, said: ‘Kerry brings a great deal of experience and insight, and I'm confident she'll make a valuable contribution as we continue to focus on supporting our people and strengthening our culture.'

Smith added: ‘I look forward to working with colleagues across the organisation to continue building a positive and inclusive workplace culture.'

She replaces Ashi Williams, who is leaving the trust at the end of July to take up the position of chief people officer at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust and George Elliot Hospital NHS Trust.
