Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership selects head of hospitals and community care

Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) has appointed Caroline Robertson as head of hospitals and community care.

She joins the health and social care partnership from Combat Stress, a UK-leading veterans' mental health charity, where she was head of operations, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Robertson, who is a registered social worker and trained mental health officer, has also worked extensively in other Scottish health and social care partnerships across Scotland and has held senior operational and strategic leadership roles and been heavily involved in strategic planning and the roll-out of integrated services.

She said: ‘This role presents a great opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals and local communities to enhance the well-being of individuals, ensuring that the right care and support is accessible at the right time and place ensuring accessibility and equity to the residents of Argyll and Bute.'

Evan Beswick, chief officer of Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership, added: ‘Caroline brings with her a wide range of experience and knowledge from across the public and third sector and she will be a great asset to our team.'
