Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership appoints chief officer

Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) has appointed of Evan Beswick as chief officer.

Beswick, who is currently serving as interim chief officer, has worked as head of service for primary care in Argyll and Bute. He has 13 years of experience in operational and strategic management in the Highland and Argyll and Bute areas.

He has been with NHS Highland since 2011, starting his journey as a national management trainee.

Beswick said: ‘I am dedicated to leading the partnership and collaborating closely with our stakeholders, outstanding staff, and partners throughout Argyll and Bute to ensure the continued delivery of exceptional health and social care services.'

Councillor Dougie McFadzean, chair of the Argyll and Bute Integration Joint Board, added: ‘This appointment reflects the hard work and dedication that Evan has consistently shown. His knowledge and commitment to providing rural health and social care services will ensure continuous delivery of excellent integrated health and social care services.'

Beswick will take up the role in October.
